It has been a long journey since CronotempVs began as a watch collector community in 2009. To mark this special anniversary we have asked Milus for a collaboration that was generously accepted in the form of the iconic "Snow Star". In the spirit of telling this unique story we thought it an ideal occasion to re-issue the "Snow Star" by Milus as true to its original design as possible but with a more modern and up to date twist. A great opportunity to tell a story known only to very few collectors...
In cooperation with Milus we have decided to re-issue an updated version mimicking the concept of the original barter kit celebrating this special edition as a homage and retain the characteristics of the original model.
A very limited amount of the "Snow Star XV" by Milus will be made. Deliveries are expected to be during Winter of 2024.

A part of history
Created in the 1940s, the original "Snow Star" was designed for U.S. Navy pilots to be eventually used behind enemy lines. Apart from the watch, the Snow Star included a "barter kit" intended to help them survive if they were forced to land in unknown or hostile territories.

The "barter kit", which initially consisted of a pair of gold rings and other items to help U.S. Army pilots from the 1940s survive in hostile territories.

The updated version...
The new 2024 emergency barter kit of the Snow Star for CronotempVs will include items such as cryptocurrency storage card, a personal item location card, and a certified Milus 2g gold ingot.

47-hour manual wind
This Snow Star for CronotempVs is based on the "Heritage" edition in 40mm with a double domed sapphire glass and a 47-hour manual movement.

This version of the Snow Star has been updated to go a step closer to the original. Including the details on the dial and color of the date displayed.
